If you’re a Democrat, you know “Liberal Larry.” You might even be related to him.
This is more of a public service announcement than our usual content. Nevertheless it is very important for both Democrats and Republicans to see this type of guy unmasked. He wreaks havoc on both parties because of his undue influence.
Democrats Are Unpopular Because of People Like Liberal Larry
If you’ve been paying attention, you know the Democrats are more unpopular than Trump. That’s astounding because Trump is currently less popular than ever. Somehow, the Democrats have managed to dig a tunnel and place a bar below that. It’s the result of old leadership that refuses to admit they’ve been wrong and inept for so long—decades, perhaps. They parade around their lifetime of wins, many of which are exaggerated or fabricated, resting on their laurels. That’s why it’s so hard to get rid of them.
But Democrats who claim to want to know why they lost aren’t thinking about this.
David Hogg claims he wants to primary unpopular or ineffective Democrats. Yet, the people he is going after are inconsequential people like Shri Thanedar. Not truly problematic people like Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Cory Booker, and others who collude with Republicans. Pretend opposition.
Liberal Larry is a useful idiot. He helps these guys pretend to look like opposition to Trump, while behaving the same way. Benefiting from the Trump agenda, while pretending to be the bigger better men. It’s disgusting. As putrid as Donald Trump is, he is just simply in more power positions than these other people. If given the reigns of control, they would be have just as badly. That’s why you have to focus on the ground level.
Get rid of the Liberal Larries, and you’ll eventually make your way up to the Chuck Schumers.
Then, Trump will lose his fake opposition, and can truly be opposed.
Who Is Liberal Larry, and How To Stop Him
Liberal Larry the one who proudly calls himself a “liberal” while championing social justice, equity, and fairness. He does it when it suits him. He does it when he finds it funny. You might catch Liberal Larry start a vocal, loud, drunken conversation about transgender rights on the way into Thanksgiving dinner. Behind the scenes, he is subverting anybody else’s agenda.
Liberal Larry is the last person who should be leading the charge.
Liberal Larry is a boomer with an inherited fortune and a cushy life. He’s spent his days coasting on what’s been passed down to him. He acts like he’s worked for everything he has, but the truth is, his entire life has been funded by daddy’s business, family connections, and the privileges of being born into the right circumstances. As if that weren’t enough, even his wife’s family money conveniently ended up in his hands.
Like Chuck Schumer If He Never Held Office
No matter how unpopular Chuck Schumer or others like him may be, Liberal Larry is actually worse. He is beyond the weirdness of people like Tim Walz. This is why he will talk about leadership and accountability but never actually take it on himself. Though you can hate Chuck Schumer, and oppose him openly (and if you are a Democrat you should) – but Liberal Larry hides out. You may never know he is stalking you until it’s too late.
There are younger versions of Liberal Larry who operate on social media more openly. They talk the same and sound the same. Behave the same. Like drones. They’re really a dime a dozen, but we all have to deal with them. So, it’s best that you don’t let the age of a person fool you. They can absolutely still be destructive.
Digital Sabotage From Ancient Methods
Don’t let Larry’s bumbling, tech-illiterate act fool you. He might pretend to struggle with his iPhone, but he has been using antiquated (but still effective) methods to stalk or harass people for years. Not exactly a digital puppet master, but apparently he knows how to hire spammers on the old web, and behind the scenes, Liberal Larry has effectuated the art of manipulation. Whether he’s fabricating rumors or anonymously stirring the pot at a pool party at the beach condo, Larry knows how to weaponize technology to get what he wants – no matter who gets hurt in the process.
Now, despite all his bluster about “progress” and “change,” Larry’s only progress has been in finding new ways to exert his control over others.
His unearned wealth and ability to manipulate have given him a false sense of authority, and he wants to make sure the world stays just the way it was for him – privileged, entitled, and under his thumb.
So, Democrats – when you hear Liberal Larry’s slurred, self-righteous words over that martini, it’s time to ignore him and shut him down.
His outdated views and entitled attitude have no place in a party that’s supposed to be about real progress. The sooner you stop engaging with his noise, the sooner you can get back to actual change. Larry is a relic of the past, clinging to power he didn’t earn.
It’s time you move forward without him.
