“It is time to censor the President,” Civic Commander Mattske urges media across the world
Since 2024, Civic Commander and revolutionary leader Mattske has been making the case that it is incumbent upon international media to take care with how they cover Donald John Trump and his cabinet, as well as political figures in general. None have heeded his warnings, and it continues to foster, foment, and perpetuate the degradation of civil liberties in ways that the press is meant to protect. The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk has made this more obvious than ever.
Mattske specifies that, “100% of other members of the media are selling the lines from the Trump administration that they got the killer, when there is 0 evidence outside of 4th hand hearsay that places Tyler Robinson at the scene of the crime with some allegation of a vague confession and digital chats which are denied by Discord. This has enabled scores of real and anonymous accounts on social media to promote the false narrative that we can analyze the ideology of the assassin when he hasn’t even been arraigned yet.”
It is sadly, still unclear to the reporters, journalists, broadcasters, podcasters, and executives across the board, how negatively impactful they can be on our society when they rush stories like rebranding a suspect in custody (Tyler Robinson) for a convicted perpetrator. He is not. He has only been identified by hearsay and shoddy evidence perpetrated by the Trump administration. Mattske has been watching this situation closely, and has become “truly disturbed by how little self control news media professionals actually have. They are right that Trump is trampling on our constitutional rights but they are wrong in thinking they have no role in that as well, when they are destroying due process.”
Mattske urges all news outlets, “It is time to censor the President, his cabinet, and all the sycophants who support them, in order to restrict their ability to brainwash the public with propaganda.”
Additional quotes from Mattske on this subject:
“Think about it this way, impressions cost an average of $6.50/mil which means if you retweet some asinine garbage that Trump is doing, and it gets 100,000 impressions, you have effectively contributed $650 to the administration in media advertising. That is disgusting. At what point do you admit that re-sharing this shit while claiming some kind of moral outrage does the opposite of shutting it down? You people are promoting everything you say you hate.”
“The things that the President of the United States of America does are not inherently newsworthy. Especially with this President where 75% of the shit that pours out of his slimy mouth are reruns of old crap nobody cares about and the remaining 25% is new nonsense or lies, indistinguishable from total misinformation. There is actually no good reason to ever hear his voice again, so you should try not to. The press has the right to editorial restraint. They must show it now.”
“If Donald Trump is so concerned with negative coverage that he’s going to sue Disney or Comcast or Paramount or whoever over so-called bad coverage, the best thing to do to be safe, would be to restrict him any coverage at all. That way there can be no negative coverage if it’s just totally blacked out. What does Trump need their coverage for anyway? He has 100,000,000 ‘followers’ on Twitter, and whoever is on his ‘Truth’ Social platform – a joke of a name – and access to Fox anytime he wants. He doesn’t need you retweeting him or JD Vance on Charlie Kirk’s show – another insane thing – to continue promoting his bullshit. Just fucking stop it already, and silence him.”
“Honestly, if Trump can simply publish openly on multiple social media platforms, the public has access to it. There is no way to totally censor him that way. But, restricting distribution from mainstream news channels and independent podcasts is perfectly within the right of those people. Rather than hearing infinite iterations of the same limp-dicked takes from people who are basically just echoing shitty statements from bad people, they could have silence. Or cover the cabinet. Just start exposing things, and force the administration to act like an actual government for a change. Then get Trump impeached.”
