Bernie Sanders’ so-called “platform” hasn’t changed in decades. He also proclaims this proudly, as if learning nothing over half a century besides the Yankees’ starting lineup in 1953 is some kind of accomplishment. The guy is regarded by both his followers and people who criticize him, as having been “right” about a lot of things over the years. I was alive in the days of the Iraq War, too. As a child I knew what was happening was wrong.
It doesn’t take a great mind or a solid constitution to say that. It may take some courage to speak against it in front of a room full of Congressmen, or the press and the public, on occasion. But if you also know your performances will be futile, who cares?
That’s the Bernie Sanders that I know, recognize, and despise.
Bernie Sanders Has Never Stopped Netanyahu From Going To War
You may see social media content from old man Sanders droning on about how we need to stop Netanyahu. We need to stop Israel from doing what they are doing in Gaza, and now in Iran. But he never tells his fans or followers what HE is going to do about it. Because if what we have to rely on is him being compelling enough to get Republicans (and Democrats) to change their votes – his track record is horrendous.
In fact, in order to keep Bernie Sanders as a folk hero alive in the minds of The People, you have to suspend a concern for producing results. If you want to keep the spirit of Bernie Sanders alive, you are going to perpetuate failure, and mock resistance. He is academically lazy, just like his colleague Ted Cruz. The Bernie Sanders ethos is thin and benign towards the malignant forces he claims to oppose. He never gets bills passed that he authors. Has virtually no accomplishments for this “movement” too.
Yet the Democratic establishment and media outlets treat him like some kind of man of the people because he has built up a customer base of people who like to hear fake opposition rally speeches, but never want a change to any status quo.
The people who support this man claim he has championed causes and gotten them discussed. But never initiated. Never executed. Never realized. Nothing with this man ever materializes. Yet somehow people find his grandfatherly charm irresistible? I don’t.
I find him despicable.
Bernie Sanders Sells Snake Oil Catchphrases, Not Revolutionary Change
People who want to reform the healthcare and insurance industry in America have long since believed that Bernie Sanders has the answer(s) but he is always somehow thwarted by “the establishment.” He actually paints people into a very similarly vague folklore as the “right wing extremists” who believe “the deep state” does everything. I want you to recognize how virtually indistinguishable those belief systems are. There is an “establishment” of people, organizations, communication systems, banking relationships, and so forth. But you never hear those specifics from the Senator.
Bernie Sanders chants things like “the billionaires and the wealthy corporations” are to blame. He has dressed himself up as some kind of Bob Dylan type figure, but without actually being a musician. His “Fight Oligarchy” Tour is an embarassment. A bunch of celebrating cheerful people, partying, claiming to be stopping the elite from taking over our country. He says things like *we’re on the road* to authoritarianism.
Define Authoritarianism, If You Can
But has never defined when we would have fully crossed that threshold. Many people think that Brad Lander being arrested for doing his job in New York, was that threshold. Some say it was before. But people who are really paying attention right now should care less about whether we are on a road or arrived at a destination. We need to stop the direction we are going in, and Sanders is not able to fulfill that function.
The Fight Oligarchy Tour is essentially the opposite of blaming illegal aliens and minorities. It also has the same divisive and unproductive effect. This is not a defense of the billionaires and the wealthy corporations and before you catch yourself putting me on some other side of an imaginary line – look at the publication you’re on. I am advocating for the removal of Donald Trump and a full blown regime change in America of American politicians but doing so via out Constitutional process instead of with violence.
Bernie Sanders couldn’t say or write words like you just read, which I wrote.
“Medicare For All” Is Nonsensical Jargon
Medicare is a program for people in retirement. Medicaid is for poor people. Yet the conversation you hear Sanders have related to healthcare costs are such that it is bad for poor people. You may be asking yourself, “Yeah, so?” Well, then why isn’t the program called “Medicaid For All?” That would be solving the problem of our country’s poorest people being without medical care coverage. Rather than using the name of another program, namely, one intended for people who have reached retirement age regardless of their financial status.
Therefore, in a way, this mentality puts the programs of Medicare and Medicaid at odds with one another. Medicare For All – who are eligible – would be the fullness of the thought. Or is it Medicare For All – of the people who vote a certain way? If it’s Medicare For All, then it is Medicaid For…whom? Anybody? Will there be anybody in the poorest class of America left to receive benefits if Medicare Is given to All who can afford to live without it? That is what’s happening right now in Trump’s budget bill and people like Bernie Sanders are viewed as the guy(s) to stop it. And he is complicit in it.
Medicare For All Is An Insurance Scam
The long and short of Medicare For All, is that it’s a campaign to increase the valuation of health insurance companies, not a plan to get more people coverage. It increases the value of what people who are already getting or guaranteed benefits, to have more. It could be considered a valuable campaign if it were more honest. But it is not honest. It sells a program to people who may never be eligible for it. So you have poor people getting swindled by Bernie Sanders to support programs for the middle class or lower upper class.
Maybe Bernie doesn’t serve the billionaires – but he does serve a few.
Maybe Bernie doesn’t serve the wealthy corporations – but he does serve a few.
Those people who have followed him for years recognize easily that Trump voters or supporters or “MAGA” people are in a cult.
But they don’t recognize Bernie Sanders leads a cult too.
Passionate Speeches Are Not Votes Or Alternatives
There are plenty of speeches Bernie Sanders’ supporters may point to when they try to convince you that he is great. They want to paint him as an anti-war guy. A peaceful protestor. A fighter for the common man. It’s all a ruse. A farce. A lie. He is not a common man at all, which has been exposed at plenty of intervals. Maybe his success is warranted, and the multiple homes and high net worth are well deserved. But he also has benefited from failure. He has a track record of delivering on zero promises.
Why?
Well, the establishment stops him of course!
Just like Donald Trump who can blame the deep state or “far left lunatics” like Bernie Sanders for his troubles, Bernie Sanders himself controls his cult audience with false promises and long stories about why he’s allowed to remain in office as a total loser.
If he is unable to compel the opposition to pass laws he believes in, he is a failure of a diplomat within his own legislative body.
So how the hell could he help stop a war?
Bernie Sanders Must Not Want To Stop War With Iran
In many ways, just as some Democrats provide fake opposition for Donald Trump to pretend to beat, Bernie Sanders puts up a fair amount of fake opposition. You know that even if you don’t want to accept it. Go watch the Democratic primary debate where he refers to his “friend” Joe Biden, who authorized military funding for Israel to conduct what is now considered genocide by many civil rights organizations around the world. Bernie Sanders may call Netanyahu names on social media or the news, but he has not pulled a single lever within the Senate to issue the authority of his chamber to stop Donald Trump or his illegal partnership with the Prime Minister of Israel.
So when Bernie Sanders says, “Netanyahu was wrong regarding the war in Iraq. He is wrong now. We must not get involved in Netanyahu’s war against Iran,” think about the position he is presupposing exists. Many people follow this train of thought and it is wrong. We are already involved in Netanyahu’s war against Iran. That is clear. It was made clear by the President. The Congress has even made it clear that they do not want to stop the President from making or waging war. They only want to declare it.
The Senate has very specific responsibilities regarding War Powers.
Despite Bernie Sanders being a vocal “anti-war” advocate, he does not discuss anything practically speaking, about how to use those powers to stop Donald Trump from continuing down a reckless path.
Either Bernie Sanders Won’t, or Can’t Do Anything He Promises
At this stage, whether it’s healthcare policy or peace making, it’s clear that Bernie Sanders does not deliver what he promises.
Does he want to? Debatable.
Could he do anything given the position he has? Probably.
Will he deliver on stopping the further American involvement in Iran? No.
Either he can’t. Or he won’t.
But he will not do it.
So he has to go.
Bernie Sanders Should Resign & Be Replaced
It would make a powerful statement for Bernie Sanders to peacefully resign without question, admitting that he has tried his best but cannot live with himself to fail to stop another vote for war as a Senator. Let him leave politics completely, and become a genuine activist. He can raise the same money from his constituents, but he would become totally free to say whatever he wants including all the private and secret conversations he’s had over the years. If there is any hope for him to be helpful to people in America, he must do it from outside the U.S. Senate.
Vermont state legislature would replace him, and hopefully they send somebody good.
Because we need a United States Senate who could be capable of conducting war efforts to defend the homeland, our bases abroad, and eventually pivot towards diplomatic relations with Iran. That is absolutely possible, but not with the regime we have here in America.
Regime Change In America Must Be Peaceful & Constitutionally Binding
Leftists get aroused at the historical references to revolution. Even the concept of there being a “left” is ancient at this point. The French Revolution, and modern day America, are totally different places. To even conflate those rhetorically is a bad idea. Those outdated phrases, philosophies, and foundations, are why Bernie Sanders is so dangerous and ineffective.
He is both academically thin on reading material, lazy as a thinker, and probably – at best – resigned to the idea that even he can’t change anything so nobody else could be able to either.
The circus act he was running with AOC – and her as his protege – is also a transparent demonstration of his lack of authenticity.
Saying that you know people are literally starving out there, but then bragging about how much money you’ve raised just for doing concerts; isn’t exactly the representation people are looking for.
Bernie Sanders, is not against the establishment, ladies and gentlemen.
Bernie Sanders is the establishment.
Therefore, Bernie Sanders has to go.
Bid him farewell.
Remember him fondly.
But do not let him blindly allow power hungry greedy people like Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu destroy any more of our national sovereignty than they already have. If Bernie Sanders cannot figure out how to be an effective opposition, he must resign or be expelled by a genuine peace movement.
Comparing the Iranian Regime to the American Regime
There are a variety of polls that have been put out lately to attempt to make the case that a) Americans are in favor of a war with Iran in order to stop them from enriching weapons grade uranium to make a nuclear weapon to use on us, and b) that the Iranian people themselves would like to have a new government not lead by their current Supreme Leader.
For the purpose of round numbers, the average of the reports indicates that approximately 80% of Iranians are not in favor of the current regime.
There is also an approximately 80% of Americans who say Iran should not and/or cannot have a nuclear weapon.
Those facts combined are what the war mongers have used to suggest that regime change is not only a good idea, but very much wanted by all parties who would be affected by it.
America’s Theocratic Congress Is Enabling Trump, and Sanders Isn’t Shutting It Down
On the American side, Democrats and Trump opponents claim that there is a majority of Republicans who are in control of the White House and the Congress. Therefore it is kind of assumed that they will do whatever they want without opposition. Meanwhile apparently Trump cannot even get those Republicans to uniformly agree on what should go in his budget bill – including members of the House like Marjorie Taylor Greene who now say they regret voting for it.
But let’s just take a look at Trump’s so-called “mandate” which he and some of his most vocal and loud allies have enjoyed talking about.
You will often hear people say things like “half the country” voted for Trump. This is not true. Not even a little bit.
Trump received (according to reports) ~77.3 million votes.
There are about 340,000,000 Americans.
That is about 22% of the country.
By this logic, Donald Trump and the current regime are unpopular among at least 78% of the population.
That’s pretty bad.
Sure, according to these recent polls, the Supreme Leader of Iran is equally unpopular among his own people.
But…not by a lot.
Trump Has Lost Major Parts of His Coalition
While Trump may not have cared about losing his coalition over the course of this term because of his unilateral control over them, that is falling apart right now. It isn’t even just war with Iran that’s creating the problem. So many other breakdowns happened which made his moves telegraphed, exposed, transparent, and clearly bad for those people he was pitching things to like his tariff policies.
By the time this strike on Iran, from Israel, came to pass, a lot of conspiracy theorists out there who believe Israel has undue influence over America – like Bernie Sanders says regarding AIPAC – think they were proven right.
People on the underground of online media like Nick Fuentes, Steve Bannon, Dave Smith, and others – are openly calling for Donald Trump to stop what he is doing or face consequences politically. Like impeachment.
Has Bernie Sanders called for Donald Trump to be impeached yet?
Not that I’m aware of. Not at any of his gigantic rallies with AOC raising money for himself. He doesn’t make a video every day about impeaching and removing the President. I mean, at one time, Sanders himself thought he could be the President apparently. Unless he ran fake campaigns against Clinton and Biden, why has he given up on those aspirations? Yet people follow him still, out of a lack of better options.
Ironically, the part of Trump’s coalition that is sticking with him still are mostly composed of all the fake opponents like Bernie Sanders.
Fake opponents like Gavin Newsom, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, and others are constantly pushing media criticizing Trump and promising to fight. But they do nothing about it. No legislation. No lawsuits. Just a bunch of soft talk and no action.
Ditch Sanders To Save America
Bernie Sanders is too slow, too established, and has too long of a history of failing to deliver, to be trusted anymore. You must treat him like a liar, until he proves otherwise.
Let him earn your support again, if you support him.
Go on the offensive to remove him from office, if you want to stop war with Iran.
Bernie Sanders not only cannot and will not stop war with Iran, he doesn’t want to stop war with Iran.
Nobody in the Senate does.
They will all benefit in terms of political contributions and other means, by pleasing the military contractors and interests related to war.
He knows he has a part to play.
Keep the hippies down, and pretend to fight the power.
That’s the Bernie Sanders mission.
That’s why it has to stop.
